We show productions from inventive new companies nightly at 7:30pm.
Our shows run from Tuesday to Saturday evenings with occasional matinees, and two nighters on Sunday and Monday evenings.
Combine your trip with a visit to our cosy pub downstairs for some fresh, seasonal food, a great drinks selection. We think you're destined for a fabulous night out in South Kensington.

In a world where femininity obsesses over smallness in size, voice, opinion, ambition, Coccinellidae explores how women can embrace bigness in a BIG physical romp. 

An unapologetic exploration into the apologetic world of women, a defiant call to confidence. 

Coccinellidae combines clown, physical theatre, audio testimonies (BIG Testimonies) of over 100 women exploring their BIGNESS that are woven into the live soundscape. 

What if we maximised a woman instead of shrinking her?

Are There Female Gorillas?

A girl and a gorilla, back to back, handcuffed together. She is shaved. The gorilla is hairy. Can they put their (hairy) differences aside to realise what it means to be a contemporary woman? 

Are There Female Gorillas? is a collaboration between experimental artists Grace SDS and Sophie Ablett blending spoken word, game play, a childhood dance routine and naturalistic new writing.

Strife In A Northern Town

When a crap Northern town starts to get even crapper – things go wrong for everyone, including: sex mad supermarket shelf stacker Tracey and her miserable colleague Donna. Pepsi and Lulu, excitable receptionist 'frenemies' who lick Weetabix for lunch to lose weight. Allergic, dog phobic Val, her cheese loving girlfriend Kay and ranty mum Maureen who hates Clare Balding. Come and meet these characters and many more, in a fast paced, funny tale of a city that needs to be saved. But can this lot do it?

Sharp Teeth Presents...

For the last three and a half years Sharp Teeth Theatre have been bringing together theatre, storytelling, poetry and music to create a night of riotous fun. They’ve had raps about stolen bikes, poems about cottaging, performances from drag kings, new writing about women who climb the shard, and improvised storytelling about Lance Armstrong getting lost in a bathtub of meat, amongst many other things.

This Monday feature storyteller Wilf Merttens, theatre from Oliver De Rohan, music from Catherine Embleton and resident sketch troop Darcy, Rooke and Hinds.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Six awkward spelling champions learn that winning (and losing) isn't everything.

An eclectic group of six mid-pubescent children vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller Wins! At least the losers get a juice box.
