Yes, 20% off your entire bill if you order food. You must bring proof of your ticket purchase in order to receive this discount.
Yes, we especially recommend this if you are coming on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday and/or have a larger party of 5+ people.
Doors always open 10 minutes before show time.
We do not have a physical box office therefore do not need physical tickets. You are fine to show your online booking on your phone or simply give us your name on the door.
Yes, but it is cash only and we cannot guarentee entry if the show is sold out.
Unfortunately we are a theatre above a very old pub and the only access to the theatre is up a flight of stairs. This is something we are distinctly aware of and are working towards a solution to this in the future.
This varies show by show, so you are best to check the specific show listing. We do, however, lock the door to the theatre from the outside once the show has begun (we find men looking for the loos mistake the theatre for the toilets a bit too often to keep it unlocked). If you arrive late please see the bar staff to be let in.
As each show is brought to us by separate theatre companies, who receive all of the ticket proceeds, any refund requests will be directed to them. We are able to exchange tickets within the run of the same show, as long as the show is not sold out.
The bar staff are able to answer most ticketing queries and can be reached at 020 7835 2301
Usually, but it depends on the show. Please see each individual listing for details. Please be aware you may be asked for proof when you arrive at the door so please bring proper ID.
If you are part of an organized creative union (i.e. Actor's Equity, SAG, SMA etc.) or if you are 65+ or under 16. Please be aware you may be asked for proof when you arrive on the door.
Unfortunately we are located in a largely residential area. Most street parking is free after 6/6:30 during the week and free on weekends, please check each street’s signs for details.

Hiring the Theatre

What we look for varies based on what we have on, what we’ve had in the past, and what is topical and relevant. The following is just a general guideline of how we programme – if you have an idea, we’d love to hear it!

3-4 Week Runs - Musicals, new musicals, operas, classics, reimagined classics, contemporary plays (but not new writing)

1 Week Runs - Any of the above, plus new writing

Sun/Mon - Any of the above, plus stand up, sketch comedy, concerts, cabaret, magic shows, spoken word, readings, workshops, anything really! (Be warned that we cannot schedule these until we have main shows scheduled in).
While we are happy to read your script and advise you on it, we are a theatre for hire, so we are unable to bring a show from page to stage. We are always open to a chat about how you can begin getting your show off the ground, however, so feel free to drop us an email at enquiry@thedraytonarmstheatre.co.uk
We are a small team but we do try to get to as much as we possibly can. Please feel free to send your invitation to enquiry@thedraytonarmstheatre.co.uk
All details on how to hire the theatre can be found under Contact Us --> Theatre Hire.
We try to programme at least 6 months in advance, at least 8 months for 3+ week long shows.
