The Gift

The Gift

Abbie is going through the motions of life, a job she hates, ambitions she once had are disappearing, and there’s too much talking with not enough action. But then she makes a new friend at work. And suddenly life is a bit more bearable. And a lot of fun again! As much as she is having a good time, there is something about this new person in her life which she can’t quite figure out. It’s almost like she’s hiding something…..

Kevin Lee’s new play looks at the importance of how we want to be perceived in the age of social media, and the effects it can have on people whose lives seem to depend on it. But of course, everyone is different, and everyone has a story, which ultimately makes them who they are.

This will be a staged reading.
