“Happy Birthday to me. 15. The end of the world!”

Noah is fifteen and lives with his dad. Just like any other teenager, he drags himself to school, visits his grandparents, and watches stupid videos on his phone until crazy times in the morning, just to avoid revising.

Like a lot of 15-year-olds, Noah finds life difficult. Very difficult. And he doesn’t know how to cope. This is a story about coping, about getting by. As Noah’s dad says, “You’ve gotta laugh!”, but what if it's not funny… How do you cope when you’re clearly not Alright?

The original production was directed by Benjamin Hardy-Phillips and has now been adapted for the Edinburgh Fringe 2022 by Cordelia Tarbrooke. Performed by Dillon Berry and written by Patrick Withey, this original play is a brutally honest and quick-witted insight into living with Mental Health. Catch it at the Drayton Arms before it heads to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August!

TW: Contains depictions of depression, anxiety, OCD and body dsymorphia as well as references to suicide.

Theatre Company Reviews:

“Alright? Walks the fine line between tragedy and comedy with focused care…There is a natural wit to Withey’s writing which Berry brings to life with skilled ease.” - Confessions of Five Foot Two Actress

“As near perfection of a one man show that I have seen” - Claudia Pepler, Merlin Theatre Director
